Last week the BBC presented 10 Pieces, an interactive workshops for schools.
It is a fantastic idea to introduce children to Classical music and use it to create other artistic work.
The children in Y1 and Y2 listened to some famous classical pieces and had to think about how it
made them feel and the emotions that they experienced whilst listening to the music.
What movements can you make to represent the ideas in the music?
How can you use colour and shapes to draw your ideas in a creative and artistic way?
Other year groups also watched the workshop- Y3, Y4, Nursery and Reception and enjoyed the
whole experience!!
