Year 6 Evacuated!

On Monday the year 6 children started a new topic all about World War 2. During the war many children from London were evacuated to the countryside to keep them safe from the bombs. Our year 6 children got to experience this. They were not told where they were going, they just followed the teachers! 

The children were evacuated to a village school in Theydon Bois, there they met the children who lived in the village. It was a fantastic morning and started our topic with a wow!
