Y1 classes visit The Tower of London

Before half term Y1 classes traveled by Underground to visit the Tower of London!!
It was a wonderful castle with a rather violent history!!

People were sent to the Tower if they had committed a crime against the Crown.
Many people were executed there including Henry Eighth's wife Ann Bolyn.

The children found out about life in the past and what a castle was like.
