Football Season Round Up!

Year 6

Congratulations to the Year 6 Football Team on a very successful season. The team ended up narrowly missing out on first place by one point to neighbours Manford Primary School. Overall the team played 12 games throughout the year, winning a very impressive nine of them, drawing one and only loosing the two games. This is a fantastic record on which makes myself and the School very proud of these performances. Congratulations to Tyler for finishing top goal scorer with a whopping 36 goals, scoring in every single game we played! Dylan finished on an impressive 22 goals with Taj finishing third with 15 goals. All the team deserve a big well done for this season but a special well done goes to Captain and Vice Captain Jack L and Owen R for conducting themselves and the team in a very professional manor and representing the School with pride. Squad for the 2011/2012 season camgapign: Gracjan, Ryan, Ben, Nathan, Vinnie, Owen, Nathan, Aaron, Taj, Aidan, Charlie, Jack, Trae, Tyler, Josias, Rose, Deja, Mikaeel, Riaz and Jack R.

Year 5

In other news, congratulations to our promising year 5 team for winning both their friendly games this year in preparation for next season. Impressive 0-1 away wins at Barley Lane and the recent 8-2 victory over GGKSC certainly got the boys excited for next season. Captained by Conor the boys played some promising football in difficult conditions and showed real promise for next year. I am very much looking forward to working with this team next season. I am very much looking forward to working with this team next season.

Year 4

Congratulations to our year 4 Football team for winning their 2 friendlies of year also! An impressive 6-3 win against GGKSC helped raise the boys confidence followed by a very good performance against Goodmayes Primary School recently in a very exciting game played here at JB, with JB ending up the 9-4 winners. Captained by Darren/Dominic the side played some fantastic football on the day, with also four boys in year three (Kyreece, Kyrell, Fabio and David) also proved why they deserved the chance to play a year up showing some fantastic footballing ability.

I very much look forward to working with all age groups next season and hope I can continue to enhance Football at JB.
